Bazaar Ramadhan @ S13, Shah Alam!!!

Assalamualaikum...

This Ramadhan is my busiest month ever...I have now the experience of being a hawker in a bazaar. It has been 3 days and I'm quite enjoying it!

Goat BBQ is our product and we had 3 days (until today) of sold out BBQ!!! A good business it is but a very exhausting one for us the staff-on-field. We are a team of 6 people who are divided into 3 groups. 1st group - Slaughter. 2nd group - prepare the marinate, sauces etc. 3rd group - marinate the carcass of goat, cook and sell!! I'm in the 3rd group and we are the toughest of all...*sigh*

We start our jobs at 1 pm every day - preparing the materials and set up our stall at the bazaar. At 3 pm, we start grilling or should I say BBQing at the stall. A whole carcass takes about 2 hours to cook, so at 5 pm, the BBQ is ready to sell. We sell the BBQ in 2 different sizes - small for RM7.50 and large for RM14. Cheap though...

We have just finished marinate a carcass for tomorrow. It's 11.07 now and I have not eaten dinner. I'm fasting on daylight so I 'berbuka' at Maghrib with Mango juice. After this, I'll eat something on my way back home. So hungry right now...

I'll be adding some photos of my dayly works at the bazaar in the blog. Yummy....
Till then... See ya!
